Mechanically Sound Silver AUTOMATIC around $18K - Clean Title

Hello, my name is John (from Wisconsin). I wanted to commend everyone for this incredible online community you have developed. I am looking for a silver, automatic, and mechanically sound Delorean in the $18K range. I am willing to travel to take an in-person look at the vehicle. Thank you for any PMs you could throw my way with potential options. Thanks again for keeping Delorean's dream alive!

Welcome! I'm guessing you've been watching prices for a while and already know this, but most cars that are $18k and in good mechanical condition are sold at that price because the owner needs to get rid of it ASAP. Certainly not impossible but a deal like that is a rare find. Good condition non-running cars can sell for $20k, and you can pay $25k for a solid runner with a bad frame and rough interior.

    Best wishes on your search!

    Welcome!

Sincere question: what is meant by "mechanically sound?" I think that could mean different things to different people.
