Haggerty listing on 1981 Delorean (start of auction)

My morning auction report from Haggerty shows they have a beautiful 1981 Delorean, looks new to me. Any idea how much it will be in 13 days?

Based upon similar sales on BaT, this will fetch North of $55K.

Wow, that's a clean car! Looks like it's in great shape. It's also 94 lower than my D's VIN, so it's great to see a "cousin" out in the open. I can't see this car going for anything lower than $40k.

The ad itself seems very thorough and well organized - doesn't leave much undisclosed seems like.

    I got you beat - I'm 5510, it's only 13 lower than mine!

That's a great ad. About as thorough and detailed as you can get.

And those extras being thrown in, that's the guy's entire car hobby being included right there. Right down to the fire extinguisher and blocks of wood for putting the car up. Makes me think someone passed away and it's being sold by the family members. Beautiful car for whoever ends up with it.

Hey fellow fifty-fiver! I love finding cars really close to mine. For a while when I first got my car, I was trying to find my "brother" cars of 5590 and 5592. Apparently one of those was a safety research car called an "AXI" car. I've never been able to actually locate either of these VINS.
