    I seem to remember some owners saying they only work with the key on. Mine has the fuse near the brake switch and work all the time.

    brake light wiring varies from car to car. So you guys are both correct. Some have it switched, some have it constant. This is not reflected in the wiring diagram.

    I unwrapped the tapes around the wires to the ignition switch and when I moved the white one everything came back on. I went to DMC FL to pick up a new ignition switch and showed them my ignition switch they said it was not DeLorean and looks to be out of an MG. So now it makes sense why the wire colors didn't match up. Had to be a repair by a previous owner.
