Ive been meaning to share my progress of 16563

Hey guys, its late and I have a lot of photos to upload but if I dont start somwhere ill keep putting this off. I wanted to get my project up for a while now for several reasons. The first coz im proud, the second because I would love to share any knowledge and experience I hace acquired doing this and the third because you guys are all awesome and been such a help along the way.
I will upload pics of my car before. I have owned the car for about 8 years and got the motor done right away however the interior and some mechanical issues were very daunting for me to tackle so I put it off until recently. Some issues Ive fixed with mew upgraded parts, some Ive refurbished existing parts and some with new original.
Ill upload tomorrow pictures of the exterior work Ive done, the upholstery pieces I removed and had recovered in a Nappa Leather and am in the process of installing now, Including the seats which I had seat heaters installed under the leather on the bottom and back. I have prepped and painted both bumpers, engine cover, louvers, mirrors myself.
    Installed Dynamat throughout the car..
    More tomorrow

This is my progress so far just on the exterior. I need to install the front grill, front side markers, rubber trim etc. Just posting progress and happy to answer any questions on anything considering I did everything cosmetic

    Great work!👍🏼
It reminds me of a not too distant project.

Instead of dynamat, i installed a soundproof condensed foam with sticky backing. Both must work effectively.

Yeah, Iknow the general feedback to sound dampening is that it doesnt make too much difference in our cars, however because I knew I was having everything recovered and also re fitting the panels in a much more snug manner than original I had a good chance of really seeing if there was an advantage, So far so good, and I dont even have the carpet, headliner, or seals in yet.
