Questions to ask

Hello,

I do apologize if this has already been asked, but I searched for it and came up with nothing.

I have a lead on what sounds like a decent D to buy, (this would be my first D ever), but I want to know the "problem areas" to check when I see the car. I thought this info would be easy to come by, but it's not!

What should I look for? What should I avoid?
I know that checking the frame for rust is essential. I've also heard that under the doors can rot. Where else should I check?
