    Passenger Door Lock Issues

I’ve been having issues with my passenger side door lock. The lock rocker will get stuck when unlocking the door (see https://youtu.be/_a24RN4k2CE) I did the lock settings in ST-10-8/81 and now it will not lock. Any ideas?

To be able to lock the door both latches must get into the "Second Locking Position". You have to hear 2 clicks out of each latch. You may have to adjust the anchor pins.

Are the anchor pins in the latches?

The anchor pins are in the door jamb on the body. It is that long stud like thing that sticks out that the latches capture and lock onto. There are 2 of them on each door, one in front and one in the rear. They unscrew and can be moved over a little bit for adjustment purposes. You loosen them up and move them sideways, and then retighten them till you get them where you want. A simple way to do it if you are not experienced is to remove one and only try adjusting one till you get it the way you want and then do the other. Before you even try adjusting the pins you should replace the door seal if it is torn or worn or just not rubbery anymore. NEVER try to adjust the doors to compensate for a tired, old door seal. You may find, after replacing the door seals, that there is no need to adjust anything.

The bell crank is not rotating fully to the unlock position in your vid. A bent front latch rod (too short) or not making sure you have zero slack and zero tension on both rods when you install the rear rod can cause this problem. (Make sure that both rods and the electrical contacts are in the correct position during this step).
(FWIW- I don't see worn seals causing it to not unlock.)

Worn seals by themselves would not be the cause BUT if you have worn seals and the anchor pins are not properly adjusted, it would bind up and prevent unlocking. All too often I have seen the anchor pins got adjusted because the seals got old and tired and did not seal well and the doors bounced while driving. To properly adjust the pins you do need good door seals so that is the place to start. As I said in post #2, make sure both latches are in 2nd locking position. If they aren't then the pins need to be adjusted and you can't do it with bad door seals. The locking mechanism, when properly adjusted, won't work right if both latches are not in 2nd locking position.
