Thread: Starter motor permanently engaged

    To be sure- The first time this happened, you turned the main on w/o a problem, but when you hit and released the key, it continued spinning -- And now it spins as soon as you turn the main on every time?

    ...I'd remove the red-white wire from the starter and turn the main on only. If it doesn't spin the problem is in the wiring. Otherwise pull the starter and test as above.
