That Steel-It threw up some red flags for me just looking at the label. “Stainless steel in a can!” “Weldable!” Right off the bat, I can see they have no reservations about overselling the product. What does it mean for a polyurethane paint to be weldable, anyway?

Cerakote or Duracoat. Get the air cure type not oven cure.

Spray Max makes a 2 part catalyzed rattle can paint.
Once you activate it the can is only good for about 48 hours but should resist most solvents.
I've only used their clear in the past but I believe they have some pigmented varieties.
