    Air con dryer wiring looms

    Hi guys
Just wondering is it a big job to replace these 2 looms for the air con dryer.
I have a broken wire on one of the Connectors and I can't see a way of getting into the terminals without breaking the plastic housing.

I assume replacing them is my best bet?

Do they come from the main harness down the passenger side of the center housing tunnel ?
Where is the other end of the wires come out from?

Any help would be much appreciated
    Thanks
    Shane

I'd try finding a pigtail at the auto parts or salvage yard... Older GM should fit.

For the high pressure switch, there's a 16" version and a longer version at DeLorean.com. It looks like you possibly have the shorter version. Perhaps the low pressure switch wire is the same/similar.

I added the longer version to my early car. There's an AC thread here where I show the installation if it helps.

    a/c wiring

Usually you can push the connector through the plug to repair. Or pull the connector through the front. IIRC it's a flexible plug so seems
there is room to push or pull the connector to work on it.

Sorry, I missed your location question. At least the high pressure switch wire comes out behind the AC accumulator from the passenger footwell. You can see photos and commentary beginning on post 27 of this thread where I add the loom. I'm assuming the low pressure switch wire comes out in the same location, perhaps.

Just read your thread post #27 there Dana, fantastic write up , that is a huge help.
Have a good idea where the molex side of the connector is located now and how to feed it through.

Virtually the whole a/c system front to rear is getting done, so that entire thread is gonna come in super handy for reference..

    Excellent

    Thanks
