    vacuum pipe part #101290

Hi, having trouble seeing where the vacuum pipe (part #101290) connects. It comes out of the vacuum capsule on the transmission but not sure where other end is supposed to run too? Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Did you already look at this parts diagram with that part in it?

    It's item #26 there.

And plugs into item #27, which is a long skinny metal tube that goes from that rubber hose back towards the rear and runs along the driver's side of the transmission. It goes quite close to the ATF dipstick tube.

No picture handy but it connects on the back side of the driver side intake runner.

CAUTION - this fitting is not present on engines installed in cars with manual transmission. The hole is there but not the fitting so it can be changed. Just something to remember if you are reconfiguring a car or swapping engines (or even intake manifolds).
