Thanks for the link to that thread, it's not too late I can always return the Amazon one. I'd like to see if a real Sanden shows up or not from it.

Update: Amazon Four Seasons 58666 did not have any Sanden prints/stickers (unlike the pictures show on the item page), I am returning it and placed an order directly through Sanden now.
If it wasn't the middle of summer I would watch ebay.

Ask what kind of oil is inside. Some come oiled and some do not. If possible get it with the correct oil for the refrigerant you are using. Be sure to measure the level to make sure you have the correct amount for this application. I would also do a quick check on the air gap on the clutch.

There are just so many threads/posts that are years old and figured I should make a new thread for 2021.
I was originally looking to purchase a compressor from DPI ($340 shipped) but had heard of other owners ordering from ebay/amazon/etc saving a decent amount.

I've also noticed with some compressors you have to mount them sideways, wouldn't that be an issue for adding oil?

Hopefully someone can help me out as this summer has been a hot one!
Looking for a direct drop-in Sanden replacement compressor? Check out this link:
