    Here it is polished. It did clean up the "decal". Photo with flash shows up little brown dots which are there but it does not really show up when your look at it. Other photo is no flash.

    Last photo is my 3D printed balls.

    When I first read Ron's post, I thought he was talking about placing a tiny ad (as in an advertisement for a product) on the shift knob. I mean it seems like they are everywhere now, car wraps, in movies, NASCAR, on blimps, super bowl, baseball fields, sheesh!...now with 3-d printing, why not on a DeLorean shifter ball?

    Good ideas. But text that small would be hard to print. I put the text negative into the ball and then fill with colored epoxy. Then it gets machined round and polished.
