Jeff from the POGs crew was letting some of his collection go at the DCS 40th Birthday Bash. These are one of the infamous tool kits that we were all supposed to get with the cars. They were told to take them out because they were so cheap looking. Well they are!
It was great to meet Jeff and the other guys and it was a great time even if it was a small DCS.
Hope everyone else had fun as well!

One came with my car as well. I think the wrenches in mine look even cheaper.

Having the tool kit is a requirement for concours judging. My car doesn't have one; however, I've prepared two cars for concours judging in the past and both had them. Granted I'm not sure whether or not those kits were actually original to those cars.
Cool nonetheless; especially that Jeff held onto them for 40 years.

The last time I saw those toolkits for sale was at the warehouse sale in Ohio. They are garbage but they were supposed to be included with the cars but never were. you can't actually use the tools, they are so cheap you will break them and yes, you get points for them in a Concours.
