Ty DeLorean, Son of John DeLorean and the DMC-21

Apologies in advance, as I searched the forum to see if there have been previous posts made about this, but came up empty.

Can anyone shed some light on who this guy thinks he is, and what he's trying to pull?

Someone mentioned him on the DeLorean subreddit, and he claims to be the biological son of John DeLorean, and is building his own DMC-21. While I don't have a TikTok account myself to read any comments, posts on the DeLorean subreddit say that when people call him out for being a fraud and a liar, he says "see you in court".

Seriously, who is this guy? How does he think anyone in the DeLorean community would even fall for such an obvious scam?

The conclusion that I have come to is he is either a con or a total nutjob that thinks he is the illegitimate offspring of JZD. He is taking Reliant Robins and chopping them up to create gullwing doors and decorating the Reliant Robins to look like a DeLorean on the front and rear bumpers.

That's the million dollar question, isn't it? Is this a con job or some delusional whack job who believe what he says?

I find people like this utterly fascinating, especially if they believe they can actually convince others of such a farce.

I assume this is some kind of joke/performance art. He's probably racking up the views and laughing all the way to the bank. (People get paid for having tons of views on TikTok, right? I mean why else would they make asses of themselves in front of a million people?)

that reddit post was me asking cause i couldnt find anyone else talking about him until recently where he's appeared in British news recently and all over DeLorean Facebook pages
