I have never heard of anyone else doing this but I think I am going to NOT install rivnuts but instead use the more modern plastic push pin fasteners. Not sure if that is the correct name or not but that's what I call them.
I may get some flack from Delorean purist but I think the rivnuts to hold the plastic rockers on is a horrible option.
Here are the advantages of these modern fasteners in my personal opinion-
1. They will never rust or corrode
2. They are inexpensive
3. They are readily available from most any auto parts store
4. They are quick to install and should be quick to remove if needed
5. They look nice and should blend into the black plastic fairly well.
I just need to decide what style, diameter, and length to use. The ones with the Philips heads look the part and fit perfectly with no redrilling even needed but one think I do not like about these is the Philips recess tends to strip out when trying to remove the fastener or you spin and spin and spin but it doesn't loosen unless you pry on the fastener at the same time while loosening.
Even if I did go this route (the screw type) I think it would be a be better than rivenuts and screws.
