I went back to Napa. I found it interesting that they had both of these. Aren't they pretty much the same thing?
I bought a bunch of stuff and headed back to the shop.
I bought pink wire to fix my engine bay light wiring then when I got back I remembered it was purple wire I needed not pink. Duh.

Have you considered the Wurth semi-gloss black paint? It's a wonderful product that lays down well without primer. It was recommended over SEM by my body shop owner. I like it a lot.

I have yet to find any colored paint to be fuel proof. Clear Poly brush paint seems pretty good but the spray cans that claim colored poly seem just as bad as any other paint. "Steel It" paint is a little better then the rest but it only comes in black and is very expensive.

The engine paint I have used is "Fuel and oil resistant" I tested it and it seems to be fuel proof.

Will it wipe without any paint on the towel after it gets fuel on it?

Yeah for the price it works really well for parts and such. We have talked about using it for the engine bay, engine cover, etc. But I'm thinking it isn't the best paint to use for that stuff.
