Maybe your old one is repairable. If you damaged one of the pipes, they can be repaired by a competent shop. That may be an option for you. It is one of the biggest jobs you can do on a Delorean, you have to dismantle the whole dash.

It's aluminum and is very thin metal at that. Given the labor involve replacing it, I would never trust a repaired unit.

My thought was maybe it can be repaired without taking it all apart. If you can find the right kind of connector maybe you could cut the damaged piece off and stick another one on. I agree I would not take the whole car apart to put something in I can't trust.

I am thinking this is the case.

Hard no on that one. Our cores are made in the United States here in Ohio.

We assemble end tanks on radiators, braze evap core tubes/heater core tubes and pressure test in house.

Yeah, unfortunately you appear to be presently OOS on both the evap and heater cores. Not that I'm in a hurry, but I'll need both in due course.

We assemble as needed for use in house. We have a finite amount of available man hours due to extreme staffing issues. Our core focus is on completing builds and service work. Our post was more to make a correction on the assertion that we should be lumped in with the other over seas sellers.
