Well, I'm not sure now about the flag colors, looking at Todd's video.
My torch red vette looked more orange than red in certain lighting conditions, especially with a flash and digital photography, and the shade of red on this car seems to have more of the same effect. So, Italian flag as an homage to where it was designed, or what you think. Not sure yet, but Joost said at Celebration this concept car was built in Italy.

It's an Italian flag, all the guys around the car had Italdesign jackets on with the Italian flag on them.

That's merely the price for an NFT that links to an image of the car hosted on Geocities.

The price of the actual car will be MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD, PAL!

Where we're going we'll need NFTs

Speaking of NFTs for the Alpha5 I'm reminded that at the Aug. 18 Alpha5 reveal party a fellow invitee brought up DeLorean NFTs to me. I asked whether he had a connection to the new company. He said he'd gotten his invitation because he bought an NFT from the them. He claimed this cost him $2500 and gives him the rights to an Alpha5 production slot.

    That jives with this story.

This guy was sure the car was already in production and he'd be getting his real soon. But he acted as if he'd already taken a few passes at the open bar. I didn't burst his bubble at that upbeat event.

None of the company staff announced anything about production timing at that event, by the way.

I bet he was a window shopper and clicked the buy button without doing any research. Reality will catch up with him eventually.
