    Facia Paint

I?m looking for a lighter gray paint for the facias since my car is mirror polished
The dark paint clashes too much so I peeled it off
Anyone have what they used and with pictures?

    Thanks

Try just stripping it down to bare black plastic and polishing that to match.

Maybe do a chrome vinyl wrap on the fascia?

Use straight silver and use a fine flake. I you have access to PPG, try 1681 or 1680 and mix just a touch of 1627 indigo blue to keep it on the cool side. Also add some DX995 flattening which will give it a more reflective flop.

You can clear with a semi gloss or even gloss clear since it is mirror polished and that should get you pretty close.

Try a spray out card and see how you like it. It may be too bright and reflective in which you could add some coarser silver like 1696 and even a little black 1683 but be sure to add a little more blue to keep it from turning into a warm shade of gray. Black and silver make a very reddish beige shade if gray...the blue brings it back to a more neutral shade.

The chrome wrap idea is a good place to start...and easier but the surface must be smooth, very smooth and prepped(coated) properly..
