    Glue question

    My car has some missing pieces so I bought the replacements. However, I'm not sure what glue I need to use to attach them.

    * Hood carpet set
    * Hood edge strip
    * Fender finishing strip (108247)
    * Seat belt bolt seal cap

    Thanks for the pointers!

    I just asked the same question in another thread? Let me know if you get the answer.

    This contact cement was recommended to me by my neighbor. He used it to replace the carpet in his corvette. It?s what i will use for my carpet project. You can buy it at Home Depot.

    I used contact cement, in a can using a paint brush on the carpet. Anything exposed to the weather get black weather stripping glue.

    I like 3M 90 spray adhesive for the trunk carpet.

    For everything but the carpet I went with Permatex Super Weatherstrip Adhesive. It's in an orange tube and it's what DMCH sends you with for one of their gasket kits. I haven't done the carpet yet but I really like the pointers!
