New Carpet and Headliner Install Questions

Hello everyone I am planning on replacing the headliner and carpet on VIN 3349. But I have some questions regarding the other things that can be done when I remove the carpet and headliner.

Sound Deadening
Does anyone know how much dynamat/or other sound deadening material I will need for the fiberglass floor?
Has anyone tried the ?paint on? sound deadening on the stainless panels? (Doors, roof etc)

Carpet Install
I can?t seem to figure out, do I glue the carpet down when I reinstall it? If so what type of glue do I use?

What else do I do while I am in there?
Are there other projects which I should undertake while I have everything apart, that I don?t know about? I was thinking about new weather stripping or rear speakers, but I am not sure those areas will be effected during this project.

Any insight would be appreciated
