    WTB Upper Door Panels

Looking for Upper door panels that will still hold the fir trees and that still look good....Prefer grey, but will entertain black.
Id rather not spend $400 each at DMC, plus the jack up shipping they charge.

    Thanks.

Are you able to post some pictures so we can see what you have? There are threads on here were people have ditched the fir trees and went to magnets. There are many solutions that you may not know about on how to save your old ones.

Here's a picture. Sorry that the lighting sucks..it was getting dark and my garage is not very lit in the evening (yeah, gonna get led's to replace the florescants).

Anyhow, all the holes will no longer hold the fir trees securely..I was trying an experiment to bolster the holes (thus the visible rivet in the picture)..but upon reflection, I was over engineering it, and instead will make washer type things that the fir trees will slip into which will allow them to hold the panel down securely.

First if the mods want to move this to a different thread I totally understand. I think this could be a good help thread!

I think this thread is good for this project. https://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?7...er-Door-Panels

Myself I think they are repairable. There are many YouTube videos on vintage door card repair. This is a common problem with many cars.

This also might be a good project to do at the same time.

You could also contact the vendors like MW,FL and California to see if they have good door cards but the fabric is no good and you can transfer yours to them.

I know the rules but I can't resist offering other avenues of help.
