    What's the latest coolant recommendation

I'm due to change the coolant soon. What is everyone using these days? Lots of exotic coolant options out there to choose from.
    Thanks

I just use the 5 year Prestone. I'm not one to change it often.

Yes, the good ole green stuff. It is what the system was designed for and is compatible with most types. Mix 50/50 with soft water unless you buy the pre-mixed stuff. Flush first and bleed after.

After a trip to Walmart, it seems Prestone is now clear, not green

That's really surprising to learn. I have always thought coolant was naturally clear and a dye was there to aid spotting leaks and prevent ingestion. Seems strange anyone would want clear coolant.

Ok my mistake. Looks clear when you look into the bottle but pour some out and it magically changes color 🤣

Looking into a yellow container holding green coolant will naturally look clear because colors.
