Question Transmission slipping in and out of gear

Hi, about 2 weeks ago, my automatic transmission wouldn't shift out of first gear. i immediately pulled over and waited for it to cool down. i then restarted the car and drove it home with no problems. Last week i take it out for its weekly drive, and when it gets warm, it goes completely out of gear and into neutral...then, it goes in and out of gear several times. drive, then neutral, then drive, ect.
Anyone have this happen before????. i dont think its the governor as it was rebuilt 200 miles ago.
    Any thoughts?, thank you, Maryjo

How is your fluid level? The Type 4141 is very touchy about that. I'd start there and if you're low then you will have some hunting for leaks to do.

+1...sounds like the fluid is low or the filter is stopping up. Look for dark fluid.
