    Replace drop glass divider 105943

Has anyone replaced the "drop glass divider" on the driver side? Mine has a bad ding in it from either a rock on the highway or some other external damage, so bad there is a gouge and the paint is scraped off right there. I might try to file it down, fill it in, and put some black paint on it but if it doesn't look good enough, I want to replace the divider.

I haven't taken the door panel off yet to give it a look but the image from DMCH seems to show a couple of tabs with holes on either end Is it riveted in, or just snaps into something? Is there an adhesive where it goes over the glass?

Basically any tips to replace it is appreciated.

Right. No sealant. This is the seal for the job. It's item 17 in the Glass schematic.

OK I see now. Thanks! I'll update this thread if I end up pulling it out and replacing the channel.

Good idea! Working on the passenger side door now. Looks like I'll have to order a couple parts.
