    12V to one cooling fan.

I noticed I have only one cooling fan running today, my car has the fan fail bypass rig, both fuses ok, AC on, still only one fan, otterstat bypass same results, I am not getting 12 volts at suspect fan. I haven't tried introducing 12v to the fan but I know I don't have 12v at fan from wires. any ideas.?

It sounds like your fan is toast but just to be thorough, have you checked the fan relay? (the standard relay next to the fan fail) I'd see if any of the wiring to that relay is burned or damaged.

I haven't looked at that relay, I need to test the fan with 12v and I'll update. Does this wiring look ok on the fan fail bypass.Screenshot 2024-03-22 at 4.49.22 PM.jpg

Those jumpers are not installed in the correct pins.

    This should help.

It looks like the terminal on the right should be one over to the left.

I moved the wires in the fail safe rig to the correct location and still nothing at driver fan, passenger fan works fine. Maybe fan relay? Would the relay kill just one fan?

Maybe check the non-functional fan's ground?

You have mentioned it a few times already, you need to check for power at the fan plug.

When diagnosing electrical issues work from one end to another. Replacing and guessing parts will bring more frustration than success.

Fan relay would not kill one fan. If you tested the voltage at the fan connector and get no voltage when the other fan is running then you need to test that you get voltage (with the one fan running) at the fan fail jumpers. All three jumper should have the same voltage.
