Don't think anyone said there was a problem with them, just questioned the existence of them. It's like an electric cat polisher. Sure it works, but why?

He says he has a brand new one already and others are saying he should wait till he gets a cork gasket. That sounds like they are saying there?s a problem to me.

Well it's one of those gaskets that's impossible to replace without lifting the engine if it happens to leak. Well, actually it's not impossible but it's nearly impossible to do a good job of cleaning up both sides before installing the new one.
