Either one comes with a black and a grey armrest pad to keep from engaging the switch's accidentally. You either match the interior color or not if you like some contrast. They look great either way. Any suggestions or observations from units already "in the field" would be appreciated as we've sent out quite a few by now.

    Rob,

Will you by any chance be bringing a cache of Mattaligners to DCS in Springfield? If you do, please reserve one for me, as I will bring cash-in-hand. Prefer black, with the bumper. I very much like the idea of saving on shipping.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Mattaligner: Happy customer

I was tired of my console switches always popping out, so I ordered a black Mattaligner from PJ Grady. I finished installing it today. It is high quality.. stainless steel and plated in black. I like the integrated bumper that protects the switches from being activated by mistake.

I also got 2 on/off switches from DMC for the ends.

I may have to get that. The misaligned switches always bother me, plus I am always accidentally hitting them. My window switches are also in the "wrong" place at the outermost positions. Although I kinda think they logically work there, it is technically wrong I suppose.

Hey, has anyone heard from Rob? I never heard back from him, about bringing some Mattaligners to Springfield. Is he even going?

what are the screws and drill bit for? (You'll have to excuse me I haven't looked in the car yet where this thing gets mounted...I've only just today opened my box and I now see the contents for the first time).

Someone please tell Grady to delete some messages in his Talk inbox....he's full.

Because you screw the plate into position before inserting the switches.

The Mattaligner aligns the switches, but the screw keeps the Mattaligner aligned.
