Replacement Rear Harness (when you don't have K-Jet junk)

Polyester looming. Female bullet connectors crimped down a bit. Labeled on bullet end. Shrink tubing at intersections. Electrical tape under shrink tubing to get good bond. All connectors soldered, no crimps.
    • A/C pigtail
    • Oil light
    • Otterstat
    • Reverse switch
    • H2O temp
    • Auto transmission knockdown switch

    • Starter wires
    • Alternator wire
    • Oil pressure sender

Add in a 12V+ bus bar and new red cables to alternator, battery, starter and bulkhead connector and you have a nice clean engine bay. Of course a new modern coil will let you remove the ballast resistors, putting a toggle switch on the engine bay light eliminates the one on the firewall and the whole start relay thingy can go too with new red wires just described..... clean.

Distributor Readiness for EFI (or to change your impulse coil)

I just did this job for another guy that is going EFI, so I thought I would document it. Sean, do you want to put this in the resource or how-to section as well?

PDF file contains step by step procedure with pictures. Enjoy.

Just got my EFI analytics package today with my Bluetooth serial adapter. I have now ditched the cable in the car and can wander around as I tune the car..... sometimes this tech stuff is just too cool. I'm now able to use the MSDroid app on my cell phone too, so if I just want to grab a log or watch the gauges I don't even need my netbook, just the android.
