No, I think its a "year of birth" thing. I own an 81, 82 and an 83 and I like the later cars better. I explained my opinion to them. THEY WANT AN 81

NO No, I understand. As I said, I explained to them my preferance. I do respect there desire however. They are planning on having it shipped to my place and flying out to do the basic maintanance and then drive it 500 miles home. I wish my father and I had a car adventure like this when I was a kid!!
