I don't care what happens to his account there, as the DML is largely empty nowadays anyway. Now that I see so many of his messages in my group mailing list summary I am tempted to just leave completely.

Not that I don't like Bill - he's a great guy and he's helped me more than a few times, and I think he's a net asset to the community. But man is it annoying to have to skim through dozens of messages because all he does is rant. The remaining "normal" posts are borderline not worth the hassle now. Same story here, honestly - there are threads I was reading that I was interested in that got violently sidetracked by the arguments that follow him wherever he goes.

I wish he could just hold his opinions reasonably quietly without resorting to trolling other people. He's already made the other mailing list almost as absurd as the various threads here were getting. I think that as DMC owners/enthusiasts we get enough crap from other people without resorting to harassing each other.

Bill should be left totally alone. As long as he persists in "upgrading" suspension and as he continues to convince people to put those dumb little things on top of the intake manifold, he continues to bastardize DeLoreans which makes them totally unsaleable. Very soon there will be fewer STOCK DeLoreans for people to purchase
