The last time I talked to him, Bill was very busy getting #2508 back on the road, as well as getting all of his other vehicles inspected and re-plated before this Friday, which is the deadline set by the city after his neighbor claimed he was violating the city code by storing "abandoned or junk vehicles" on his property. I imagine his stress level is through the roof, but the man does work fast.

As far as I know, there's only one of his vehicles that is not in driveable condition. All of the other ones are in a deep sleep without plates to save money, so all he has to do is prove they are roadworthy. That is a big chink of money all at once, though -- I believe he has two Lincolns and an AMC to insure, plate, and have inspected.
His neighbor probably didn't know the situation, since Bill keeps his vehicles under covers when he's not using them (or taking pictures of them).
