Thread: Red loses some red

    Started on one of the rear wheels.

    First application.


    Just a little bit of scrubbing left. I wanted to do this before I replaced the tires. Those rears are in excellent condition for 30 years old.


    I think she looks so much better without the red rims.


    One rim left to go. I'll be doing that tomorrow and then I can figure out when I'm going to start the painting.

    Wow my car looked almost just like that. Now mine is back to bare stainless. I stripped my wheels with glass bead media in a benchtop cabinet. Then recoated with a color matched wheel paint. Like new now. That was 2 years ago and still looks like new.
