Actually, those badges came from the Isuzu I-Mark RS

No, it came off an Isuzu. Some think they look good and compliment the Lotus heritage our cars have.

The hood badge was on the last vins mostly associated with '83 cars with flat hoods and is factory.

See other answers about the Handling by Lotus badge not being OEM. I have seen D's with that badge added just below the tall, vertical black vents on the quarter panels, one on each side, or at the rear of the front fenders, just above the rub strips. It's not common for owners to add them.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Yes Its an Isuzu badge. I purchased this for one of their cars which had been uprated by Lotus. It was not fitted to the DeLorean

I have also seen badges that people stuck on their cars that said Styling by Giorgio. That was not original to the Delorean either. It did look nice though. I just saw there is a guy that reproduces original inspection stickers now. inspectionsticker.net

No, they are out of the Lotus badges...But they have the "hood emblem", here.

This is incorrect - we now have the "Handling by Lotus" emblems available. Every time we buy them, we're told that they've been discontinued, but our source always seems to round some more new ones up for us.

The hood emblems were fitted to all cars built from December 1981 forward, 82 and 83 models.
