    South American DeLoreans

If you rank the continents by number-of-DeLoreans, only Antartica has fewer DeLoreans than South America, as far as I know.

Excluding central america (as there are some on Guam, PR and Mexico) does anyone recall hearing of any on this huge continent?

I understand that there is 1 in Brazil, i think in Sao Paulo area. But any in Chile, Argentina, Peru etc?

I am going to Brazil tomorrow and will keep my eyes open just in case

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

The Fight Club time machine replica resides in Chile. It's regarded by many(and contested by some) as the most accurate replica built to date.

You are close. It is actually a little west of Sao Paulo in Carapicuiba. My favorite part of visting Brazil are the roads. A speed bump the size of a body every 100 yards and no traffic laws.

Are you going to stop in Rio? If so check out the awesome sea guns at Favela Pavao Pavozinho and of course Cristo Redentor aka Christ the Redeemer.

While my Portuguese sucks I have some how survived that place....

I am just going to be in Belo Horizonte (just got here in fact). No Rio for me unfortunately.

Anyone have a link for the FC BTTF car?

Well, just got back from BH. Didn't see a D, nor very few cars above the size of a compact.

Importing a vehicle into protectionist Brazil is very expensive (about a 50% import tax) which goes a long way to explain the lack of fancy cars down there. Gas is about $6 a gallon which doesn't help either.

Cool government buildings though. Passed this one very day - it is entirely supported by rods from the roof. Looks like it is just hovering

An interesting building, I wonder how it does in high winds or an earthquake.

They don't seem to be in an earthquake zone, but I was told that the some of the occupants claim they feel it moves in really high winds.

The car looks great. Too bad it's so far from home.
