I took my passenger seat out so I could paint the track. It was rusty.

    I like driving my car.

power window switches, on the way (my LH just died), also have a new headlight switch coming as well as brake rotors, pads and calipers all coming.

Should be a darn good improvement being able to activate my headlights at the touch of a button, roll down my windows and be able to stop!

I am less than 24 hours away from completing my Masters Thesis. Once I'm finished the real work begins... on my car that is.

My biggest problem right now is it's rough to start, rough idle - it's constantly searching for steady, hesitates in accelleration especially under 2500 rpms, really strong gas smell out of the exhaust. I need to check the sparks, and injectors. I'm pretty sure I'm loosing preasure as a spray of carb cleaner around the front od the engine gets sucked in and you can smell it coming out of the exhaust. Hope it's a gasket and not ahole in the block.

The TABs need to be replaced. One is loose and cannot be tightened so I know it's bent.

General flaking on the frame needs to be cleaned up and repainted.

The clutch master cylinder is leaking so that needs to be replaced.

Install a new dust cap on the speedo - already did the lower cable and the right angle drive. Spun it with a drill so I know everything down wind is working but still no speedometer.

Now, cosmetically... Need to repaint the upper windshield trim piece. Re-grain the stainless but first need to have a few dents repaired. Also haveing a serious issue with the shape of the dirver side door. When closed it alligns with the front window pillar and the back edge fine although there's a bit of a bend in the leading edge of the door at the pillar. Below the horizontal trim along the door it quickly curves inwards and appears to be over-closed. However, judging by the wat thetop half lies I believe the door is just bent out of shape.

Need to replace the rear speakers. Replace the power antenna.

I think that's it. Hey, you asked. Should take me... oh all summer and I know I won't get to all of it.

Replaced left turn signal bulb and put binnacle back on. Tested it. Now the right side is out. F*%&^. Remove binnacle, replace right turn signal. Test. Both out.

WTF. Jiggle some stuff, adjust connectors. Both work. Win.

    Up next - dead pedal.

Reinstalled the Megasquirt computer and took car on long test drive. No repeat of previous problems (computer randomly cutting out). Also determined now that I have a good working O2 sensor, the tune needs a lot more fine tuning.
