I’ve never heard of this option. Sounds like a great idea. Where did you find this?

    4th parade

Entered the local fourth of July parade in Kalispell,
Montana. Did our one trick pony show by closing the
doors and opening them every half block. Lots of 88
MPH, flux capacitor and "hey Marty" yelling. Doing our
bit to spread "the gospel of John" to the masses.
    Great fun.....

Now that the car is on the road again...hard wired the digital GPS speedometer into the unused 12v power lead under the shifter (that would be used for the automatic shifter display lamp otherwise). My speedo is flaky so this does nicely.

Within the past week I got 5052's door latches perfectly adjusted and got the central locking system fully functional for the first time in 5 years of ownership. That accomplishment motivated me to get 4194's central locking system working for the first time in my 21 years of ownership! 4194 passenger door still needs s bit of fine tuning and both cars lock modules will be upgraded in the near future.

I also addressed / resolved an issue with 5052's mode switch which was causing the interior fan to continue running even when the mode switch was in the "off" position.
