    Sun visor

Last week I began the chore of replacing my head liner. First thing I touched went south, the first screw on visor broke off. Upon removing both visors and the overhead light I was able to see the 4 small plates that holds the visors on. They were eaten up with rust. I ordered a sun visor repair kit from DPI and replaced the rusted plates with new stainless plates. The head liner was easy thanks to a very detailed write up from our late departed friend Warren, even in death he is still helping the Delorean family. Head liner easy, sunvisor was a pia. I found mine. I put a deposit down on 1121 at Midwest today. I feel as though I've taken the first concrete step towards fulfilling a longtime dream.

Wonderful! You will be happy you took the time to find the right one rather than just jumping on the first you saw. I'll be moving back to Maple Grove in November, looking forward to seeing this car!

Brought 3922 back home on Wednesday. Worked with Dave (sdg3205) on my car to redo the breaks (rebuild) and we noticed that the master leaked over the frame. So we dropped the tank.

In the end we completed the following (Dave doing a lot of that)
    - cleaned frame and repainted first with POR-15 and then colormatch
    - cleaned tank and replaced fuel pump with DMCH fuel pump system
    - build water redirection shield so water from windshield is not poured onto the new pump when it is raining (remember: I am in the Pacific NorthWest)
    - cleaned and painted LCAs with POR-15
    - bead blasted rusted sway bar and painted it
    - installed calliper rebuild kits and hooked system back up
    - replaced master cylinder
    - bead blasted break booster and painted it
    - painted frunk with SEM black

Car drives and breaks great! Finally I can see how much gas I have in my tank. Whoa!

The way I see it, if you're gonna drive around in a car, why not do it with some style?

Finished removing, and began cleaning the headliners.

Removed the closing plate for cleaning & POR-15. I'm really missing 10372 tonight, the closing plate was nice & clean....not like this one:
