My VIN: Early
Installed a new fuel filter along with DPI's feed line. The line is very short so it was quite a pain to get aligned properly.
After all that, I finally started my car.

Took 11035 off the road to finish the restoration i started last summer. Already she got her new tires and wheels mounted but not going on the yet. Fascia's are being removed to be painted, DPI's Total Brake & Suspension package will be installed and several other custom things i have been putting together. Here is the pics of the new wheels from DeLorean Auto Parts.

Those wheels look sharp!
Are they painted or no? Any issues with John or getting a matched set? What was the core charge?
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy a DeLorean and that's sort of the same thing....
[QUOTE=Trstno1;218496] They are powdercoated and machined and no problems at all with John. I think there is a $2000 core charge but it wont be applied because he knows it takes time to swap them out. Just had these and new tires and centers added yesterday. Around $850 for the set.

I wasted half a damn day prepping the bumper for paint only to hit an unlikely rain storm and completely made all of the effort pointless. Of course it doesn't rain during the week, but on the weekend when I need low humidity it decides to rain.

Replaced both cooling fans. What a job. They sound great, and are much quieter than the OEM,
