    Carplay... cosplay?

Took the car out for a drive last night. Beautiful time to be driving here as the temperatures are just perfect for cruising. I'd seen a Starsky & Hutch car a couple of times earlier this summer, but only met him recently (on a day I didn't have my car with me). We both ended up pulling into the same gas station last night. Must have looked pretty funny seeing a couple "star cars" there. Sort of like COSplay for cars... like CARplay. Is that a word? It is now.

Today I FINALLY replaced my non existent steering wheel bushing!!!!

Now that I've done it, I could probably do the whole job in about an hour, but whew!

Here you can see my old and new bushing:

I know what you're saying. That bushing is FINE! It just didn't seem to work. hmm.

And here you can see how deep I had to go...

at this point I was saying... "Can I put this back together??"

    It got back together

This was from my AWESOME Stainless Steel brake booster bracket installation

    I've been busy

Replacing my bushing took me a couple days...the joints were so stuck together it took a while for the sauce to get in and loosen them up..putting it all back together went easy..though despite my best effort, the wheel is not centered..lol
