Today I just washed car up really good and took her for a drive around town about 20 miles. my neighbor came out and said "Oh you finally got it running again? How had it been broken 5 years ? " He thought it was my first Delorean and the time it was gone he thought it was broken down. I just let him think that because he asks a lot question about everything.

I've put together an end-to-end checklist of everything that I need to do.
In the next week or two, I'll put the Lotus into storage for the winter, so I can use that space for the engine hoist, stand, and the LS rebuild process
At that point, I'll purchase the LS motor from a junkyard
Derrin is coming up from Maryland the last weekend of October, and we'll pull the PRV drive-train and test fit the LS

Then I will be spending the winter making the (minor) necessary modifications to the frame, and rebuilding the LS.

I am targeting June or July for the car to be able to be driven

Once I've got the car driving, I will disassemble the PRV and sell the exhaust, cams, heads, and EFI system. The cams are already spoken for, but everything else will be available, including very nicely powder coated timing and valve covers.
That's pretty cool that he's helping you out but unfortunately I'm too far away and have a hectic work schedule that really kind of puts a limit on time that I even get to spend with my family so that's why I get up at the butt crack of dawn when it's still dark out to work on the car while everybody else is still sleeping so I don't cut into that but I wish I could join in the fun and helping you out. I wanted to get those cams from you but oh well and I'm sure they're going to a great place. What's been done to the heads and aren't they from Josh?
Sounds like you got it all figured out of what you want to do with the car and I think my plans in the future would be maybe heads and cam swap, still gotta install my custom throttle body spacer which I'm hoping to do in the next few weeks. That's really about it for performance-wise because I've driven enough fast cars in my day and I like cars with a lot of low-end Grunt and the DeLorean to me has enough and I have crazy fun with that car anyway and that's the part that really counts. Besides I don't want to lose the originality of the car for what it came with, hell, that's always been me and I've always tried to build up the engine that came in the car that I had like my 1985 Cutlass that had a Oldsmobile Rocket 307. I made that little engine go pretty damn good for what it was and a hell of a lot better than how it came. Also there's a few other custom things that I'm going to be doing to my DeLorean over the winner but I'm not saying as to what I'm doing I just hope to God I don't screw up when I'm doing it because then it's going to cost me big money to fix it lol! Anyway brother man I'm looking forward to seeing your post soon on your progress!

I know a little bit about Atari especially from the 2600 and the 5200 and the 7200 series and slowly I've been learning a little bit more about these other versions that they had for home PCS and things of that nature like what you have in your collection which is quite astonishing and I really like that Atari logo on the side of your DeLorean as well and if you don't mind me asking where did you get that one because I really like the style of that and the one that I have I simply Googled Atari logos and it pulled up different decal companies and I pointed on one and bought it through PayPal. I like the aqua bluish color to it which would really go good with my illegal and blinding lights at night that I have inside my car lmao!

I'd post a picture of my other vintage consoles/computers but once I morphed a hobby into a business everything became a chronic disaster.

DeLorean related activities: Loaded firmware onto the MS3 box and tested inputs/outputs. Should have it installed in the car in a day or so.

Yes, the heads are from DPI; they're ported and polished. If you decide you want them when I get there, I'll sell them to you on the cheap.

Hey Michael thanks for the ebay info! I like them more then the big one on my quarter glass window and I'm probably going to remove that and put it towards the back end by the vent like how you did. I ordered my sticker when I was looking at it earlier after you and I chatted and I got them off of Amazon and they do look good like on the back window of a bigger window and I have the same sticker on the back window of my white Z24 and it really goes well so I think this blue which I got the same color as you will go great with my color lighted interior and blue is also my favorite color! So now I'm giving a nod out to you buddy!
