Yesterday I pulled the PRV w/5 speed from 891 before mother nature told me to stop. Today I pulled the PRV w/automatic from XXX and replaced it with the PRV & 5 speed. Exhausting weekend but very productive! Now to get down to the smaller bits and XXX will go to a new home.

I love it. I found the shipping notification for my 3d printed center pieces in my email so I should have them by Friday. I hope they turned out nice.

What did the 3D printed pieces end up costing you? Do you know if they do a bulk discount?

I don't know if they do a bulk discount. I never saw that listed on the shapeways.com site. The pieces were a little over 6 bucks each. I bought one in black plastic and one in alumide. Shipping and processing came out to about 20 bucks.

Have you looked into what is going on with your fuel gauge yet?

Got a big box of gaskets from DMCMW. Realized I hadn't ordered the lower radiator brackets and hose couplers I wanted for my radiator job and called Julee back with my tail between my legs.

Replaced my hood and engine cover bump stops and had a prolonged "oh, so THAT'S what it should look like" moment.

Tried to rebuild my engine cover latch with very limited success. I cleaned the whole thing, replaced the springs and greased everything. The smaller, vertical spring seems to be the reason it doesn't "pop", but the replacement lasted only a single use before it was stretched out and unusable.

Checked my oil, coolant, brake and clutch fluid. Everything full and clean. Tomorrow I will hook up the pressure tester and see if the leak in the radiator becomes obvious enough to slap some JB weld on until my EU replacement arrives.

Yeah, sending unit is toast. I think the PO tried to fix it by using a blowtorch or something. I think I've tried to order a replacement three times now and every time I was backordered/canceled. Kinda gave up

Pressure tested the cooling system. Murphy's Law of Inverse Sh!t Luck and DeLorean Karma has been invoked and the whole thing is tight as a drum. 16PSI, no loss of pressure or signs of drips/leaks/bubbles anywhere. Not even at the radiator, which I swear was leaking last week and for which I just spent a fair wad on buying a replacement. If I was gonna replace something that wasn't broken, I would have much rather gotten the new fuel pump/sender unit
