I'm getting ready for the Celebration Exotic Car Show next Saturday and had some extra time this morning so I started working on the stainless. Bar Keepers Friend and elbow grease. I got halfway done and had to go to work.

I also took some black Rust-Oleum and painted some of the screws around the license plate and tail lights.
    Thanks,
    Lenny

Visited my friend Dave (sdg3205) and let my sweet VIN 3922 fly (put it on stands off the ground).

    - Crouched underneath to check where the ATF leaks came from.
    - Tightened the screws around the automatic transmission oil pan a bit more (carefully to not break the new gasket).
    - Noticed a small leak at the oil light switch on the engine. (Damn!)
    - Upper transmission cooling pipe/hose is "sweating" ATF (hoseclamp fix did not work)
    - Fired off an email to Toby from DMC NW

We then put 3922 back on its wheels and went for an evening cruise in convoy with Dave's 3205. Nice evening after all!
    Volker,

After we parted ways at tyne highway Katie and I stopped to get some groceries. My door locked me in again right in front of the store! I'm going to perform the lock and latch procedure tomorrow at the tech session.
    Dave

    Here, somewhere.

Holy Smokes! Not the lock and latch again.
I remember how long it took with my car. But I will be happy to assist, if you require another set of hands.

Took the D to a show 'n' shine event in town where it was nicely upstaged by 11 Lamborghinis.

22 scissor doors vs 4 gullwing doors - a Mercedes SLS was there as well. Noticed that none of the Lamborghini owners kept their doors up at the show.

In this photo of them exiting past see if you can make out the custom script on the orange Lambo's quarter window. Click again to zoom a bit.

New Lambos don't do much for me. I'm a Countach and older kind of Lambo guy - almost bought a Jalpa a few years ago.

The NorCal club did a drive last weekend. I made a video for it.

I edited 4.5 hours of video down to 9 minutes, however if you want to jump to specific points in the video here are some quick links:

Audio is taken once again from freely available YouTube music.

Tightened up one of the lines on the accumulator to get rid of a gas smell.
Ordered new door struts - they both went out at the same time! I did not order them from Hervey this time, so hopefully they'll last......
