When you get around to the permanent repair take a good look inside/behind/above this area.
I agree, I reckon you'll be removing the tank and doing some repair in there...

Washed and detailed it, inside and out to prepare for the British car show in Dixon tomorrow. Looks like a million bucks! Also made up a sweet car show display with some photos and my documents from the DeLorean Museum. Gonna be fun

    - Installed my head lamp finishers (were missing).
    - Put on the University decal I picked up when I stopped by campus a month or two ago.

Nothing. But I did read every post in this thread from #1 to the very end. I have never read a post in this thread and always felt "not part of the group." I was tired of seeing this thread jump to the top of the list every day and not being a part of it. Only took me 4 hours to completely read it..... Damn, should have spent that time working on the car.

"What did you do to your DeLorean last night?"

    Tried to start it.

Ended up putting the battery on the trickle-charger overnight. Even disconnected, I think the battery lost too much charge during months of not being used.

    Gonna try again today...

I replaced my fuse box, followed jawn101's how-to (thanks Jon.) It wasn't too bad, a lot of my connections were in pretty good shape. The white stuff seen on the old block appears to be something that was sprayed-on for protection; dielectric grease spray, maybe?

I ran the car for a bit after replacing and nothing blew up or caught fire, so that's encouraging. I'll continue to check for hot fuses after a test drive later.

One more thing checked off the list, yo!

Nice work, but you're going over budget with all this nickel / dime stuff.

My motto - if it ain't broke, don't fix it

    You got that right, lol!

But....the fusebox was "on the list" so it was one of the first things I ordered.

Running total is approx. 2.5K-2.6K, ~300-600 was unexpected/unplanned for (so far...haha!)
