Installed my volume knob. This will be the master volume. I will have a separate subwoofer volume know behind the seat that won't get fiddled with too much. I chose this spot as it's pretty close to where my hand rests while driving. Also, I will have USB ports elsewhere in the car. I was able to save the original lighter, and this is glued in from the bottom, so it could be taken out and reverted to the lighter without any sign of it being there.

It was pouring down rainning and had a doctors appointment so i decided to drive 11035. Zero leaks detected and drove great in the rain.

Picked up my car from DMC Northwest yesterday after taking the plunge and upgrading to Stage II. For powder coating I chose Rosso Red for the valve and timing covers and Bengal Silver for the intake. I also had the coolant and ATF changed since I wasn't sure how long it'd been since that had been done. Toby did some editing to my throttle cover to change "Stage I" to "Stage II." Car is running great!

So what's the verdict on a Stage II with an Auto? It's on the my wish list as soon as I get the kids out of college.

I haven't really let it fly yet since the engine is still in a break-in period, but so far I'm loving it. There's definitely more power available, the car accelerates a lot quicker and has a great sounding idle. The owner who talked me into making the upgrade said it was a night and day difference with his car and he'd never go back.

I started the process of removing the undercoating from my car. Nasty process...

I did a hack job of wiring my LED controller. Ill do a nice soldered connection in the future.

I also think I accidentally made suede on the passenger seat. I wet sanded the dye down with 400 grit as per these instructions and it just looks overdone. I can scratch the old dye off now.

Today, I found my first mouse-house. I feel like I've joined some sort of exclusive club.

Installed my back-up cam. Pretty happy with it, although I might need to point it down more.
It goes on when the car goes in reverse.

Had new front brake pads fitted and also the discs machined whilst on the car. No more shudder or squeaky brakes. It looked like they were the original Girling pads, they were very hard compound.
Also found a vacuum leak from one of the small hoses that is at the back of the motor, replaced it and now I have the engine hunting between 750 and 1000 rpm at idle. So frustrating. Do you think it needs the dwell and CO checked and reset as I think last time it was tuned the vacuum leak was there.
