Replaced the clutch slave cylinder. Holy hell what a job.

Removed the interior rear bulkhead panel (carpeted vertical panel beneath rear window). Secured the wiring loom behind the bulkhead panel to each of the two black brackets that the panel rests against and which guide the loom to either side of the rear interior light. A tie-wrap now snugs the loom against each bracket, eliminating an interior rattle.

Removed, dismantled, cleaned, reassembled, regreased and reinstalled the lambda counter. Ultimately no real point to this as it didn't help my speedo bounce, but hey - I didn't expect it to. Was just something easy I could spend a few minutes on

Completely finished the headlight and turn signal wiring, FINALLY. Heading back out to begin front fascia reinstallation.

Ordered a metric crapton of little pieces the car needs, from a shift boot to a fan switch knob to a single marker light assembly.

I love having a semi-custom exotic, it makes every upgrade and part replacement like a little mini Christmas!

Finished the re-assembly of my car, after installing new, ported & polished cylinder heads, DPI aggressive cams, and DPI Spec 1 exhaust. Set ignition timing to 16 degrees, and performed the cam break-in procedure.

Will take care out for its first drive hopefully on Sunday.

They still have to be tight. I've seen them bend (Hi Jim) if the shims fall out because they are loose.

'twas reallllly stupid. I had the distributor CAP (not the distributor itself) on backwards, but still followed the numbers on it.

Flipped that around, and it fired up after a little bit of cranking.

Car show tomorrow, so full wash, detail, conditioned seats, adjusted trunk stops, built "keep out" bars for both doors, aired up tires, fueled up. Replaced dead front turn signal bulb.

Replaced the O-ring between the dipstick and the automatic transmission. I think that was the cause of the leak! I haven't tried filling it again just yet, though.

I also installed the stainless dipstick tube I bought from a forum member. Hopefully if the weather holds out, I should have 2930 drivable again in no time!
