No, The DMV office actually approved "SAE 304" while I was there paying for it, and they issued me the paperwork too. Then I got a letter in the mail stating it was not approved. My guess was that "SAE", which stands for Society of Automotive Engineers, didn't jive with their rules somehow...

my jbweld epoxy fix for the right hand exhaust heat shield bracket failed on me today. so i just drilled to 1/4" holes and put some stainless bolts in to keep it from making the god awful racket when rattling around. thankfully this was the only issue as it sounded like rod knock before i figured out what the noise was.

Nice dude. I need to do the same at some point. Not much eyebrowing, but you can see a little from the proper angles.

Thanks brother! Its a pretty fix. Mine had it pretty good when my car was abandoned all them years ago in the California sun. Tonight im going to start the other side! Im surprised im saying this but im looking forward to seeing your engine swap! I was telling Jenny last night and showing her the pics of your parts. Even though i would mod a PRV over a swap, at least the DeLorean is still going and not rotting in a corn field. Hell it took awhile for me to get over painted versions lol. Keep up the good work buddy boy!
