The weatherman was forecasting snow this week so this past weekend the DeLorean went back into winter storage mode. I put less than 500 miles on this season. Just been too busy with other....projects.

Put the LSLorean away, after about 1,200 miles this season. Going to finally install A/C over the winter. Car runs and drives like a total animal.

Recovered the passenger seat. Pretty straightforward/simple job. I had expected it to be significantly more challenging. Next up: drivers seat.

I’d been putting off this job for far too long, certain it would be a tough one.
It was so easy to do. I refreshed the foam with a clothing steamer and let it air out for a day between removing and installing the covers. Installing took about 1-1.5hrs total. That was taking my time, and including reinstalling it in the car.
I used zip-ties for the headrest narrow part. It sounded confusing, until i got it disassembled, then it all made sense.

Anybody hesitant To tackle this job for fear it it beyond your abilities, go for it! It was not tough at all.

Took the car probably for its final drive, about 40 min of just driving around listening to music. They did salt the streets a bit here last week (snowed on Halloween), but it rained the other day, and the roads were dry. Normally, I wouldn't bother, but it had a decent amount of gas in it still. I took it out mostly to run more gas out of it and then cleaned it inside out and a bit underneath. Stopped by an old victorian home near me that always reminded me of the house from Psycho in honor of Halloween, though now they are painting it and fixing it up it after 30 years of neglect. Oil filter arrived from DMC MW the other day, so this weekend it's change time, run it one more time maybe for another short ride, and away it goes.

    DMCH.
I considered DeloreanGo and DPI covers as well, but DMCH were the only ones that really nailed the rippled look, which was important to me.
    Super easy install.
