Edit, I'm mistaken. I looked close and there's a hole for the antenna. Not only that, there maybe one down there. I can see a button. I guess that should power up when I switch on the radio. When I turn mine on, the speakers crack a little, but no sound and no display. Also no antenna goes up. Once I get the car running good, I will attack this.

Yesterday my wife and I took a nice long Sunday drive, put about 120 miles on her.

Today I got bored and tackled a "scary" job. I got the three main hoses early last year during my winter refresh project. I chickened out becauseI thought the bleeding process sounded too daunting to try but today I had a "what the hell attitude".
Turned out to be a piece of cake, mainly because I kept most of the coolant in place and refilled the new hoses before connecting so I had very little air to bleed out of the housing. I believe I will refrain from using too much dressing on them. I think a lot of rubber dressing makes the hoses soft over time.

I had my car towed from MD to WV. Now, I can work on it in my new garage.

Just tinkered today. Made some more professional looking retaining brackets for my air cleaner and decided to dust off my homemade headlight covers. This time though, I removed the velcro from my brackets and covers and epoxied some of my neodymium magnets left over from my transmission filters to the tinted covers. The brackets attach to the bumper using double sided tape so they are non intrusive and metal so the magnets work with them alone. The covers can pop on and off for times when I am motoring about after dark.

I'm considering applying a matt finish on the covers to make them match the grill better.

DeLorean Go stainless louvre struts. LOVE these, wish I would have ordered the entire set. The opening sounds and motion is just incredible. They even come with stainless hardware.

Can't really see them. Are they tinted glass/acrylic? Are the lights too dim if you leave them on?
