    Any chance this could be modified to accept a momentary negative pulse from a remote keyless entry module?
    3.0L, automatic, carbureted

    I think it will work that way with all the door lock units. Just connect it to the door switch terminal. That is assuming your negative pulse can drive the 12 volt signal to ground (open collector driver).
